Typographics is a yearly "design festival for people who love type" held at the Cooper Union in New York City. This weekend-long event focuses on contemporary typography and includes talks, workshops and more. The scope of this project included designing branding for the conference as well as the print and web components for the schedule. For the logotype I used a chubby and playful font called Modak, which I think conveys the spirit of the conference well and is reinforced by a bright color palette. Modak is used throughout for display and headlines, while body copy is done in Open Sans. Zilla Slab is used only in the schedule for the titles of talks or events. A flexible three column grid is used throughout the printed collateral.
